SEAWEED
AlgaeBoost is a non-microbial plant biostimulant made from hand-harvested Irish Ascophyllum nodosum. Cold-extracted rather than heat- or alkali-processed, so the fraction that does the work reaches the tank intact.
CHOOSE YOUR STRENGTH
TWO STRENGTHS
The base-strength biostimulant for routine, season-long nutrient programmes. Built to be applied repeatedly through the growing cycle rather than held back for a crisis.
USE CASE Routine programmes, broadacre, field vegetables
APPLICATION Foliar, fertigation, soil drench
DILUTION [ rate by crop — to confirm ]
The concentrated formulation for high-value crops and periods of acute abiotic stress — heat, drought, salinity, transplant shock. Fewer litres per hectare, higher active load per litre.
USE CASE Viticulture, protected horticulture, soft fruit
APPLICATION Foliar, fertigation, drip
DILUTION [ rate by crop — to confirm ]
WHY COLD EXTRACTION
THE EXTRACTION METHOD IS THE PRODUCt
Most seaweed extract on the market is made with heat, alkali or acid because it is fast and cheap. That processing decision is taken long before the drum reaches the farm, and nothing downstream recovers what it destroys.
Non-abrasive, cold: Cold extraction keeps the polyphenol, alginate and phytohormone-precursor fractions that hot alkaline hydrolysis strips or degrades. The extract carries the whole suite rather than the part that survives the process.
Non-microbial: No inoculant, no live culture, no cold-chain or viability window. It stores and tank-mixes like a nutrient input, not like a biological.
Organic-compatible: EU Organic certified, with certificate and operator number supplied on request — so it can sit in a certified programme without an exemption conversation.
One species, one coast: Ascophyllum nodosum only, hand-cut above the holdfast on Ireland's Atlantic coast so the plant regrows. No dredging, no mixed-species raw material, no blended-origin feedstock.
STATUS & CLAIMS
A BIOSTIMULANT IS NOT A FERTILISER, AND NOT A PESTICIDE
AlgaeBoost is a plant biostimulant as defined under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009. It acts on nutrient use efficiency, abiotic stress tolerance and crop quality traits — it does not supply a declarable nutrient load, and it does not control pests or disease.
We will not put a yield figure on this page. Biostimulant response is real but conditional — it moves with crop, soil, season and the stress actually present. What we will do is help you design a trial on your own ground and tell you plainly if we think the input is wrong for it.
-
Plant biostimulant under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 — PFC 6, non-microbial.
-
Nutrient use efficiency, abiotic stress tolerance, crop quality traits.
-
Not a declarable-nutrient fertiliser; not a plant protection product.
-
EU Organic certificate and operator number supplied on request.
-
Screened per batch against the limits in the fertilising-products regulation.

FOR MANUFACTURERS & BLENDERS
OR BUY THE RAW MATERIAL, NOT THE BRAND
AlgaeBoost is our own line, but the sourcing behind it is available on its own. If you formulate biostimulants, we can supply the dried and milled Ascophyllum nodosum — or the cold-water extract — under your own label.
DRIED MILLED BIOMASS - Ascophyllum nodosum, single species, mesh to your specification.
COLD-WATER EXTRACT - Liquid or spray-dried, supplied at agreed concentration for your own formulation.
TRACEABILITY - Species, production date on every batch — the same record behind AlgaeBoost.
VOLUMES - [ raw material MOQ and annual capacity to confirm ]

We will recommend a tier and a rate, send trial quantities with the batch certificate, and set up a comparison you can actually read against your own control.
